Connection renovation, also known as socket renovation, in non-accessible sewer pipes is an essential part of our sewer system. After a sewer has been renovated, for example with a coating, it is 100 % watertight, but the connections often remain a weak point. Connections that are not properly integrated can be leaky and allow groundwater to penetrate - a problem that we have solved with our Kanaltec 4.0 in combination with the injection and grouting mortar ERGELIT-Kanaltrec.
This system makes it possible to permanently renovate connections and connect them watertight to the main sewer. The great advantage of ERGELIT-Kanaltrec mortar lies in its unique ability to permanently bond to damp substrates and reliably fill cavities behind the connections.
The system is versatile and is suitable for connections from DN 200 to DN 800, regardless of whether they are slightly leaking connections or connections with heavy water infiltration. Kanaltec 4.0 can also be used without any problems for sewers that have been renovated with a GRP pipe liner and can withstand groundwater pressure in the long term.
